Despite the intense heat and humidity, Thalita happily hikes around the Amazon forest. Her mother always got onto her and said it was dangerous, ut she couldn't help it! The forest had many things to discover, and Thalita wanted to study it all. One of her most recent discoveries is actually some ancient ruis that looked like a plaza. This quickly became Thalita's favorite spot, especially because it hasn't been discovered yet, so there's many little trinkets she can discover!

Thalita's thoughts are interrupted whenever she suddenly trips over a tree root, which causes her to yelp and stumble into the plaza. She hisses in pain as she looks at her injured knee, but she quickly forgets the pain when she sees a pottery piece on the ground. Thalita smiles and grabs the broken piece with fervor. She quickly runs over to a rock that she turned into a makeshift table and sets the new piece with others that she's collected. Thalita took a liking to discovering broken pottery. She started collecting them in hopes of putting them together, but so far her little puzzle game hasn't gone anywhere...

As Thalita is comparing the new addition to her other pottery pieces, a snapping sound is hear. Her blood runs cold and she freezes. That wasn't the sound of the forest. It was the sound of a living being. She slowly turns, expecting to see a monkey or a jaguar at worst, and is greeted with something...unusual. It's a rugged looking boy, but his hair and skin was almost pure white. He also donned pure black eyes and horns, which signified that he was one of those "drudes" Thalita's mother warned her about. Despite that, she still couldn't help but be entranced by this strange, pale boy. She cautiously approaches him as if he's some sort of wounded animal. He hears her footsteps and quickly looks up. The boy tries to get up, but his foot appears to be tangled in some sort of tree root. The boy's frantic actions implies he's afraid of Thalita, which causes her to frown.

"I-I'm sorry...! I..I didn't mean to di-disturb you..!" he spoke Portuguese. Despite her first language being Tupi-Guaraní, Thalita was fluent in Portuguese thanks to the constant visits to the city.

"You're fine..! I'm not going to hurt you, let me help you..!" Thalita holds her hands up to show she doesn't have anything dangerous, and the boy seems to relax a little.

Thalita crouches down and gets the boy's ankle out of the tree root. Once he was free, Thalita offers him a hand to help him back up. He flinches, as if he was afraid she was going to hit him, but he anxiously accepts her hand. When he gets up, Thalita takes this chance to inspect him now that she has a better look. He did the same thing, except he was squinting as he looked at Thalita.

"You're different...It's as if you were blessed by Jaci" Thalita comments.

The boy's eyes widen, "I-I wouldn't really say I was blessed...who exactly is Jaci?"

Thalita gasps, "You don't know who Jaci is?!" the albino's shoulders tense up, "I-I'm sorry! Sh-should I know..?" Thalita eagerly nods and grabs the boy's hand.

She drags him towards her pottery collection, "I'll have to tell you all about her!...The name is Thalita, by the way".

He squints, as if he's trying to get a good look at the collection, "...My name is.. Gael".

Thalita warmly smiles, "It's nice to meet you, Gael!"
